This was an extensive landscape installation on a beautiful new construction home. The project involved a comprehensive irrigation and drainage installation, landscape lighting, the construction of a privacy screen with confederate jasmine, and thousands of plants. The mondo grasses were planted at 6” on center beneath the live oaks in the front yard to create instant coverage and depth. One of our favorite trees was used in the courtyard here too, the Rising Sun Redbud. In the backyard, the stunning white limelight hydrangeas put on quite a show. This was a large and involved project that really came out stunningly. We worked with another landscape architect in town to bring his vision to life.

This project involved the demolition of the existing landscape and the introduction of much more structure and organization. It has a palette of primarily white and green, with a few pinks. This project’s formal look matches the mid-century modern house it accents. Agapanthus, Flax lilies, and African Butterfly Irises give it a cool, soft balance, while the Pink Muhly Grass gives it beautiful movement in the wind. 

This project was an absolute blast. The client had recently moved into this home, which was overrun with unkempt tropicals and a poorly maintained, outdated look. We came up with a fresh concept, ripped out all the old plantings, brought in fresh soil, rebuilt the beds, and totally changed the look. While we did work around the entire property, including the backyard, the front was the real centerpiece. The clean looks with the sweeping lines, well-organized plantings, and annuals in the front really came together to make it pop. We absolutely loved how this one came out, and so did our client.

This was a super fun project, a complete renovation of a mature landscape in the Country Club of Louisiana. The best part was making the beautiful old sugar Kettle come alive with this tropical mix.

This project involved the removal of an existing landscape and the installation of a new, much more formal one. A bluestone path with mini-mondo, boxwood hedges, and one of our favorite trees, the Rising Sun Redbud, gave this backyard a really good vibe.

This house badly needed something to dress up its front, so we brought in a steel-edged stepping stone bath with #8 limestone between and added a clean boxwood hedge and some really stately Spartan Junipers. It really added some curb appeal!

This was a newly constructed home that needed a landscape to match its modern white exterior. We brought in Japanese Yews, Adagio ornamental grasses, Mexican beach pebbles, and patio tree hollies to make it stand out and look tight.

This massive and beautiful property already had extensive landscaping but needed some updating to freshen it up. We accented its existing flagstone steps with large ornamental grasses, distilium, sunshine ligustrums, flax lilies, and agapanthus. It was a quick and satisfying transformation.

This was a fun one! Our client wanted a Japanese-style landscape for a home they had just moved into. This is just one small part of it: a prayer garden in the corner. This job had landscape lighting, irrigation, a wall built, and extensive plantings.

This job was super modern and clean, involving lots of edging, #8 limestone and plants like this featured blue junkus. The client wanted a landscape around her pool that would be easy to maintain and not make a mess in the pool. Mission accomplished!

Our client moved into a new house and needed the front landscaping redone but also wanted to light up their live oaks. They came out really nice!

This client wanted to hide their fence and add some softness to their backyard, so we added patio tree hollies, boxwoods, and ornamental grasses. It is the perfect mix of formal and woodsy.

This is a shady bed under some mature ligustrums that needed some interest. We added holly ferns, ginger, flax lilies, and liriope and some stunning coral drift roses in the shade.

This is just one shot of many from a massive commercial job we did at Woman’s Hospital in 2015. It involved 600 tons of rock, 17,000 plants, and 39 railroad tie bridges. It was a super fun project that built a relationship between us and Women’s Hospital that has lasted for many years.
